For my course titled "Designing Solutions for People in Need" my team, consisting of myself and three Human Factor's master's students worked with a client do develop an accessible stroller for her powerchair to help her realize her dream of becoming a mother. Our client was a big advocate for people with disabilities and emphasized the importance of coming up with a solution that would be adaptable to different kinds of power chairs and spectrums of disability, as well as the importance of the "appearance of safety" to try and escape social judgement. The final design was inspired by that of walker and bassinet, providing a high level of stability, modularity, and a familiar and user friendly design. I was responsible for the entire CAD model for this project.
