Candle-Light Diffuser

This was my first ever attempt at lasercutting, and also an example of perseverance -- the plywood-like material I wanted to use was not being cut through by the laser, which was not apparent until the cut was done or almost done, which took almost an hour each time due to the complexity of the design and the amount of etching I wanted to achieve. Despite changing the settings of the laser multiple times, the cuts would not go through this material, so ultimately acrylic was determined to be the best option.
